Can Wars/Thanksgiving Food Drive A Success
The pandemic did not stop the Circle of Care from pulling off another fantastic Thanksgiving Food Drive (aka Can Wars)! This November, Circle of Care Staff collected, sorted, bagged, and delivered Thanksgiving meals and groceries for 200 families. Our Community Resource Manager received a message from one of these families that reminded us how important our work is…especially now.
Dear Circle of Care Team
On behalf of my son, my family, and myself, we would like to deeply Thank You for such an amazing gesture of bringing us a rather generous Thanksgiving dinner and extra groceries.
I personally have to point out the outstanding general Services your agency performs. They very much fulfill our needs. I am always in an open communication and feedback for follow up as well as meetings and therapy sessions.
I can’t say enough how wonderful I feel having such an excellent team of back up support. It’s like having another family looking out for us.
Please keep this up, as many families are dealing with special needs and they aren’t receiving a helping hand, especially in these very difficult times.
To Martha, Jessica, Paola, Yvelisse (therapist), and everyone in the group not mentioned here, Thank you so much. I will certainly be putting the word out for all of you. Your performance deserves to be recognized.
